Hundreds of thousands of sensitive U.S. Government documents, including many diplomatic cables, were released by Wikileaks, a whistleblowing web site, to five news organizations in Europe and the United States according to press reports. Among them was the Guardian in England. Its executive editor David Leigh talked with CNN about the release of the documents and its handling of them. Included in the documents released by Wikileaks were cables related to candid discussions among Saudi leaders and American officials.
